Rapunzel is the third episode of the live action television series "Faerie Tale Theatre". It is based on the Brothers Grimm's story of the same name. The story of a girl who is taken from her parents by a witch, and is brought up in an isolated tower that can only be accessed by climbing her unnaturally long hair.

It stars the series creator Shelley Duvall as the title character and Rapunzel's mother, Jeff Bridges as the prince (Prince Henry) and Rapunzel's father, and Gena Rowlands as the witch. It is narrated by Roddy McDowall. The set and costumes were set in a design based on a famous painter from Austria Gustav Klimt.
